Java gets snapshots which aren't full versions of the updates and are unstable and unsafe to run. I'm pretty sure bedrock edition has similar things

@Warden Skulk sensior Those are snapshots. They're unstable versions of the game that you shouldn't play. If you tell the Minecraft launcher to launch the 'newest version' you'll get 1.16. 1.17 will come to Minecraft PE when it comes to java.

The new world is cool but the characters look TERRIBLE. They did this right with the old Star Wars skin packs- those fit the world of Minecraft nicely. These skins look disgusting and fleshy and don't go well with the more simplistic look Minecraft and the mobs that inhabit it have.
